We asked parents and kids attending Catholic schools in the Diocese of Reno what they love about Catholic school. They had a wide range of answers. Some said the close-knit community and how it feels like a big family. Others loved the academic rigor and many said they loved learning about God.
Unfortunately, the demand for Catholic education far exceeds parents’ ability to pay for It. In fact, 355 students who applied for tuition assistance to attend Catholic schools in 2015-2016. The Diocese of Reno Scholarship (D.O.R.S.) provided scholarships to 33 students in 2016. We would love to help more students in need.
